CITY YOUTH HOCKEY LEAGUE (Class day and times are determined by number of students enrolled) Pre-requisite: Head Start Program or permission of the instructor Players will have the opportunity to skate with classmates from their school! Skaters will play in a 25 week City Youth Hockey League. Teams will have one practice and one game per week. City Youth Hockey League includes playoff and championship games. Teams meet twice per week for 1 hour. Equipment Required: Helmet, gloves, stick, skates, shoulder, elbow & shin pads, hockey pants & socks, athletic protector, garter belt (or shorts)
HEAD START (Class day and times are determined by number of students enrolled) Pre-requisite: Evaluation Camp or permission of the instructor Instructors will teach a fundamental skills progression program. Students will participate in a mini tournament the last four weeks of the program. Mini tournament will give students the opportunity to use what they have learned in a real game situation. Class meets twice per week for 1 hour. Equipment Required: Helmet, gloves, stick, skates, shoulder, elbow & shin pads, hockey pants & socks, athletic protector, garter belt (or shorts)
