Hockey Learn To Skate *All NEW participants MUST attend an evaluation skate for class placement. *Class days and times will be determined following the evaluation skate. *Evaluation skate participants must pre-register for the hockey program.
Offers an introduction to skating. Instruction will focus on balance, agility, coordination, body position, and proper movements. Classes will utilize activities to insure the learning process is FUN and enjoyable. Classes meet once per week for 40 minutes. Equipment Required: Skates, Helmet, Gloves, Stick, Elbow and Knee Pads

Builds on skills that were developed in the Learn to Skate. Instructors will work with students on edge control, forward and backward striding, puck handling, passing, and shooting skills. Classes meet once per week for 50 minutes. Equipment Required: Skates, Helmet, Gloves, Stick, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Shin Pads & Socks, Hockey Pants, Athletic Protector & Garter Belt (or Shorts)
